Morningside High School will rename its auditorium in honor of Olympic volleyball star Flo Hyman in a May 18 ceremony. Hyman, a 1972 Morningside graduate, died at age 31 in January while participating in a match in Japan. The arena will be designated Flo Hyman Memorial Auditorium. Plans call for a bronze plaque to be mounted during the dedication.
