Turner Gains Support for Goodwill Gesture

I thought Ted Turner was an ogre. After reading about the Goodwill Games, I want to congratulate him for a constructive, productive and, hopefully, reproductive act. The L.A. Olympics and the one before were a continuation of war by other means.

Ted Turner is a good ambassador for peace. There can be no other route to peace. I have long been an advocate for competition in all the sports stadia, concert and opera halls, over the chess board and in scientific endeavors.
