Engineers Honor Community in San Clemente
Rancho San Clemente, a master-planned residential community in San Clemente, has been named project of the year by the American Society of Civil Engineers, Orange County branch.
WSLA Development Corp., developer of the project, was singled out for the outstanding grading operation of the site, considered to be a major civil engineering accomplishment.
According to a spokesman for the ASCE, Orange County branch, Rancho San Clemente reflects superior design, control of operation, geological consideration, soils engineering, civil design and geotechnical excellence. Sharing the award were Church Engineering, McCoy Construction and Irvine Soils.
