Undefeated Rare Brick, owned by race car driver A.J. Foyt, held on to win Oaklawn Park’s $164,600 Rebel Stakes by a head over Clear Choice at Hot Springs, Ark.

Rare Brick’s victory--his seventh straight--in the 1 1/16-mile race for 3-year-olds made him eligible for Oaklawn’s $1-million bonus series. To collect, the dark brown colt must win Oaklawn’s Arkansas Derby on April 19 and the May 3 Kentucky Derby, for which he is a favorite.
