North by Cornwall

Last year at about this time your section published an article about the Dordogne area of France, and in particular about Daphne Gorse’s English country inn, Castang, in Le Coux et Bergerac. I followed your suggestion and made a reservation immediately. Everything Gloria Lopez wrote is true. Castang is truly like heaven! My wife, who speaks no French, found it a welcome relief to be able to talk English with everyone; the mostly British guests were pleased to have some “interesting Americans” in their midst. The quiet countryside, inviting pool, superb meals really added up to a fantastic vacation.
