Cagney Funeral Today to Be at His First Church

The funeral for Academy Award-winning actor James Cagney will take place in the Manhattan church where he was confirmed in 1910, the church’s pastor said Monday.

Gov. Mario M. Cuomo and Mayor Edward I. Koch will attend this morning’s funeral for Cagney, 86, who died Sunday, said Father Peter Raich, pastor of St. Francis de Sales Church.
