U.S. Women Beat Japan in Volleyball, 3-0
SAN DIEGO —
The U.S. women’s volleyball team, coming off last weekend’s Canada Cup championship win, defeated Japan, 3-0, Tuesday night at UC San Diego.
Angela Rock had 19 kills and Eileen Dempster 18 kills to pace the U.S. team to the three wins, 15-12, 15-9 and 15-6.
Naomi Masuko led Japan with 17 kills.
