Dump Office Burglarized: A burglar or burglars broke into an office at a Santiago Canyon landfill Thursday morning, stole a safe containing radio and telephone equipment and apparently left the scene in a county-owned pickup truck. The stolen 1980 Dodge pickup was found, undamaged, next to a field at Santiago Canyon Road and Loma Street in Orange, Sheriff’s Lt. Dick Olson said. The stolen safe, which contained two hand-held radios and a cellular telephone unit, was still missing Thursday night, Olson said.
