A La Mirada man who allegedly sold satellite television receiving dishes in at least 12 cities without delivering any equipment was arraigned on several counts of grand theft in Downey Municipal Court, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said. Dana Ray Reynolds, 30, would take orders at an average cost of $2,500 and then close the business before any satellite dishes were delivered to customers, Deputy Sam Jones said. Reynolds operated as Nasda Installations and Odyssey Satellites in Santa Fe Springs, Wholesale Satellite in Norwalk, Via Satellite in Riverside and Satellite Warehouse in Orange, Jones said. He was jailed in lieu of $250,000 bail.
