A man officials believe operated an illegal fireworks factory has been identified as one of eight people killed in an explosion and fire that destroyed an industrial park containing 123 businesses.

The remains of Thomas C. Cuyos, 28, were identified on Friday by the San Francisco County coroner’s office. Frank Wallis, 37, a cabinetmaker, was also identified on Friday.

Officials have so far identified six of the victims of the April 4 blast at the Bay View Industrial Park. An illegal fireworks factory was the main cause of the explosion that leveled a city block and caused $10 million in damage, according to the Fire Department.
