Northrop Corp., Los Angeles, named Stephen R. Smith manager of its F-20 Tigershark program, succeeding C. Robert Gates, who was promoted to senior vice president-international.
Smith has been serving as vice president-engineering and advance development for Northrop’s aircraft division.
Gates, whose previous title was vice president-international, will be responsible for the company’s worldwide marketing.
