A community college employee on Monday pleaded not guilty to four counts of attempted murder and one count of murder in the death of a woman who drank poisoned water from an office cooler.

Judge Cecil Patterson scheduled a June 3 trial for Lewis Allen Harry, 32, a Phoenix area resident, during arraignment at Maricopa County Superior Court.

Harry was indicted April 4 on a first-degree murder charge in the death of Julie Williams, 46, said Sylvia Lopez, a spokeswoman from the county attorney’s office. Harry is also charged with attempting to kill his wife by placing cyanide in a liquor bottle at their home March 21 and by putting cyanide in the water cooler at the Transamerica office where she and Williams worked, Lopez said.
