Pacific Palisades : Report OKs Sunset Widening
Safety improvements planned for Sunset Boulevard near Evans Road would not have a negative impact on the environment, according to a city of Los Angeles study.
The improvements include widening the road, providing right- and left-turn lanes, installing street lighting and removing trees. Work is expected to begin in 1987.
A public hearing is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 6 in the multipurpose room of Palisades High School.
