Performers will include organist Jimmy Smith, singer O. C. Smith and the Teddy Edwards Brass and String Ensemble. A fund-raiser for the veteran bassist Harry Babison, who has been seriously ill with emphysema, will be held April 27 at the Musicians Union Local 47, 817 Vine St., from 2 to 6 p.m. Among those expected to take part are the Beverly Hills Unlisted Jazzband, Jimmy Rowles, the Gene Estes-Bob Enevoldsen band, Abe Most and Pete Candoli.
