Estate Scores a 2 3/4-Length Victory in San Simeon Handicap at Santa Anita

Estate, ridden by Antonio Castanon, led from the start and registered a 2 3/4-length victory in the $88,150 San Simeon Handicap Saturday at Santa Anita.

The favorite Will Dancer, ridden by Gary Stevens, finished second, a length in front of Exclusive Partner, ridden by Jack Kaenel.

The winner was clocked in 1:13 4/5 for about 6 1/2 furlongs on the Hillside turf course.

Estate, part of an entry trained by Jack Van Berg, paid $10.60, $4.40 and $3.20.

Will Dancer, an 8-5 choice, returned $3.80 and $3.20, and Exclusive Partner paid $4.60 to show.
