San Diego State Beats UCI in Track

The San Diego State men’s and women’s track teams claimed victories Saturday in a three-way meet against UC Irvine and Occidental College at Anteater Stadium. The Aztec men totaled 101 points, UCI was second with 74 and Occidental had 28. The Aztec women scored 82 points, followed by UCI with 58 and Occidental with 30.
The Anteater men’s team had three double winners--Eric Hudson (shotput and discus), Brian Flowers (110 high hurdles and 400 intermediate hurdles) and Ralph Garibaldi (1,500 meters and 5,000 meters). San Diego State’s LaTanya Sheffield won the 100 hurdles, 100 meters and the 200 meters.
