The last local chapter of the Campaign for Economic Democracy, an activist-liberal group established by Assemblyman Tom Hayden and his actress-wife, Jane Fonda, has been disbanded in Chico. “Chico was the last holdout,” Bob Mulholland, the CED’s state political director, said.
