The Shiremanstown, Pa.-based firm said that selling adult magazines “was not consistent” with the image of a family drugstore and that it will discontinue selling the magazines in its 1,399 stores in 20 states. Southland Corp., owner of the 7-Eleven convenience store chain, announced earlier this month that it would discontinue the sale of adult magazines in all company-owned stores beginning in May.
