Source of Gas Leak Found: Fire Department specialists Wednesday located the source of a gas leak discovered at about 1:30 p.m. near an active oil well. Although the escaping gas was flammable, there was no evacuation or injury, said department spokesman Tom Shaw. A private construction company was called in to seal the leak in an alley between 5th and 6th streets. The well is owned by Energy Development of California.
