Marina High School students on Saturday were presented a trophy “for outstanding leadership” and for work in school projects.

The Judge William P. Hogoboom Perpetual Trophy was given to the students during the fifth annual Law Day Conference held in Santa Ana by the Constitutional Rights Foundation. Recipients were students Marshall Altman, Linda Baek, Susan Lau, Kurt Parker and Jennifer Troilo. Also honored were Pete Snetsinger, teacher-sponsor of the Marina students, and Paul Berger of Costa Mesa, who served as mentor for the students.

The Constitutional Rights Foundation said the Marina students won the award for their work in Model United Nations, campus beautification, mock trial competition and in arranging an assembly on college entrance requirements.
