2,000 Attack Bandits at Bank, Kill 6 in Gang

DHAKA, Bangladesh — Eight people were killed when 2,000 people attacked a gang trying to loot a bank, police said Tuesday.
Angry residents moved in Monday when 20 gunmen tried to flee with $17,000 from the bank in Nazirhat in southern Bangladesh. The gang killed two people before the crowd encircled them and beat six of them to death.
