Who May Cast the First Stone?

Share

Those who would condemn Prof. Robert A. Lee for speaking his mind and getting people to think should consider this: Who best exemplifies the true America? Those who, like their Nazi forerunners and Communist cousins, would have only “approved” speech at El Camino, or Lee, who seems willing to risk his life, his fortune and his sacred honor (to paraphrase Thomas Jefferson) in the defense of free speech and freedom of religion?

At the same time, his detractors should remember the admonition of Jesus, that he who is without sin should cast the first stone. If Lee’s detractors keep kosher, observe all Catholic fast days and faithfully follow the Fast of Ramadan, then they can say they are “pure.” Otherwise, they “sin” against two or more moral codes themselves.
