Chinese General Off to U.S.

PEKING —
Gen. Yang Dezhi, chief of the Chinese general staff, has left Peking for a two-week visit to the United States, the official New China News Agency reported Wednesday. American arms sales to China are expected to top the agenda of talks in Washington next week.
