Pasadena : Youth Commission OKd

Plans for a commission that would advise city officials on the needs of youngsters have been approved by the Pasadena Board of City Directors. The Commission on Children and Youth will be funded by a $15,000 gift from the Pasadena Centennial Coordinating Committee, which has been planning activities for this year’s celebration of the city’s 100th birthday. Funds for the youth commission were gathered from private donations. Criteria for nominating commission members, who will be selected from the community, are now being studied by David Jacobs, head of the Employee and Community Services Agency.
