Two men have been charged in connection with the alleged rigging of high-stakes bingo games at the Barona Indian reservation in eastern San Diego County, bringing to three the number of people charged in the case. The latest charges were filed against Joseph Catania, 38, of Las Vegas, and Louis Cordileone, 49, of Hollywood. Stewart Siegel, a former general manager of the bingo games, pleaded guilty April 2 to grand theft for rigging games in which nearly $140,000 in prize money was won by his accomplices. Games at the bingo hall were halted April 27, but a representative of American Management and Amusement Co. said the firm intends to resume operations May 24 to take advantage of the Memorial Day weekend.
