Area of New York City Suffers Partial Blackout

NEW YORK —
A switching problem in a substation knocked out four power lines and caused a partial blackout in the Grand Central Terminal area for about 90 minutes Monday evening, a Con Edison spokesman said.
The Chrysler and Graybar buildings were affected by the failure, as was the Yale Club, said Deputy Fire Chief Angelo DeCaprio. No injuries were reported.
