AIDS Bandit Terrorizing Sydney

SYDNEY, Australia —
Police today launched a massive search for a robber in Sydney profiting from fear of the fatal disease AIDS.
The “AIDS Bandit,” very pale and coughing and wheezing, brandishes a full syringe as his weapon and threatens to inject employees at small stores with the AIDS virus if they don’t hand over the contents of the cash register. None of his victims have resisted.
