National Amusements raised its Viacom stake.

National Amusements and three of its executives now hold 2.2 million shares, or 6.4%, of Viacom International, including 638,900 shares bought between March 25 and May 29, the group said in filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The movie exhibitor and executives Sumner Redstone, Michael Redstone and Ira Korff said they bought the shares for investment purposes. Viacom recently bought back 3.5 million of its own shares from New York investor Carl C. Icahn for $230 million.
