Daniel P. Broderick III, a lawyer and physician, on Tuesday was elected president of the San Diego County Bar Assn. for 1987.
Broderick, 41, will succeed attorney John Seitman as president in December, after working with him during several months of on-the-job training.
The president-elect--currently a vice president of the association--specializes in civil litigation, with emphases in personal injury and insurance law.
He is a graduate of Harvard University Law School and Cornell University Medical College.
