Substation OKd: While officials work out plans for a permanent police substation in the Anaheim Hills area, the City Council this week approved a temporary facility. A site at 1032 N. Tustin Ave. will serve as the temporary shift-change station for officers working in the Anaheim Hills/Canyon area. The council on Tuesday approved a two-year, $15,120 lease between the city and Lyle Parks Jr., owner of Gold Key Business Center, for the temporary police site. Meanwhile, the Police Department is working on finding a permanent spot for patrol officers who work the canyon area. In October, 1984, the council passed an ordinance requiring that developers, when it was deemed necessary, provide land, building and equipment for a facility in Anaheim Hills.
