A man who parachuted safely 300 feet from a bridge into Los Angeles Harbor’s main channel was booked for investigation of trespassing and released after the predawn Friday plunge, officials said.
Jeffrey Price, 18, of Long Beach was arrested after he swam to shore, said Deputy Port Warden Marvin Jackson. He said Mark Hewitt, 26, of Seal Beach was also booked for investigation of tre1936744819accompanying Price to the state-owned Vincent Thomas Bridge.
