Trans World Airlines has inaugurated flights from Los Angeles International via Paris to Tel Aviv. Service will be Monday and Thursday, leaving LAX at 11:40 a.m. On hand for the inaugural last week were Abraham Sharir, Israel’s minister of tourism, and Shmuel Zurel, director of the Israel Government Tourist Office in Los Angeles.

The Wonderful World of Travel will be the theme of the travel show to be held Friday and Saturday at the Century City Shopping Center from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Representatives of cruise lines and tour operators will be on hand with information and brochures. Effective in April, 1987, Iberia Airlines of Spain will begin twice-weekly nonstop service from Los Angeles and Chicago to Spain.

Pan Am is offering daily New York departures to and from Bermuda that connect with Los Angeles flights, allowing same-day arrivals and departures between L.A. and Hamilton. The round-trip fare Los Angeles to Bermuda, which may include a stopover in New York, begins at $625.
