AirCal Monday reported a new record in May revenue passenger miles at 185 million, up 13.6% compared to the year-ago period. A revenue passenger mile is one paying customer carried one mile.
Load factor, or percentage of seats sold, for the month was 54.7%, compared to last May’s 62.4%, the company said.
For the first five months of 1986, AirCal revenue passenger miles, at 798 million, are up 10.5% compared to the same period in 1985.
