3 Dead, 5 Hurt in Blast at Plant in Puerto Rico

RAHWAY, N.J. — An explosion Thursday at a pharmaceutical plant in Puerto Rico killed three workers and injured five others, officials said. The cause of the explosion at the Merck & Dohme Chemical Co. plant, near San Juan, has not been determined, a spokeswoman at company headquarters here said.
