A hog farm worker accused of killing a San Benito County family of four in 1979 has admitted two of the deaths and been sentenced to life in prison. Fred Maurice Anderson, 44, pleaded guilty to slaying Thomas Thompson Sr., 33, and his wife, Barbara, 27, at their ranch in Tres Pinos. The couple’s two children were also found dead.
