Two Disney family members separated their stock.
Walt Disney’s widow, Lillian Disney, and a daughter, Sharon Disney Lund, told the SEC that they are “no longer jointly pursuing their interests in the policies and direction” of Walt Disney Co., as they had since October, 1984. The two Disney heiresses also said they are no longer using Dillon, Read & Co. as an adviser for their company holdings. Lillian Disney said she controls 2.96% of the company’s shares, while Lund reported that her stake is 1.81%.
