Striped Bass Peak on the Colorado River

Share

Fishing for striped bass on the Colorado River at Bullhead City, Ariz., reached a high point for the year this week.

“Good fishermen are catching five and six stripers a day,” reported Joanne Moreland of Smitty’s Bait and Tackle in Bullhead City.

Successful fishermen, she said, were drifting with anchovies downstream from Davis Dam to the pipeline and Sunshine Marina areas.
