Mario Garcia, a patient at Camarillo State Hospital, disappeared June 16 while on an outing to the Los Angeles Zoo. Garcia, 17, has low intelligence, suffers from a seizure disorder and is also psychotic, a hospital official said. Without his medication, “we’re concerned that he can be either a victim or a victimizer,” hospital social worker Roger Merrithew said. Garcia was described as 5-feet-7, 163 pounds with brown eyes and closely cropped brown hair. When last seen he was wearing shorts and a white T-shirt.
