A $3.2-million budget for 1986-87, maintaining the same level of service as last year, was approved this week by the City Council.
In adopting the budget recommended by City Manager Ray Taylor, the council eliminated $9,591 for a Rolling Hills High School law-enforcement class given by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. It retained a $1,000 grant to Peninsula Seniors, which offers services to senior citizens on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The grant was to have been eliminated to save money. The council also decided to build three bus shelters, using county transportation funds.
