4 Reappointed to W. Hollywood Rent Commission
The City Council reappointed four members of the city Rent Stabilization Commission, but a fifth member will stay on only until November.
In unanimous votes last week, the council reappointed Babette Lang, Douglas Routh, Gerda Spiegler and Trudi Lesser. The commissioners will serve one-year terms, after which they may be reappointed or replaced.
Ruth Williams, who was appointed by former Councilwoman Valerie Terrigno, was not reappointed. Williams will stay on until the fall election, when Terrigno’s position will be filled. Terrigno was forced out of office in May after her conviction on federal embezzlement charges. Williams’ seat will be decided by Terrigno’s successor.
