Joan Collins and George Hamilton, seen together last season on “Dynasty,” will turn up together on CBS next season in “Monte Carlo,” a four-hour movie that is filming in France. Collins plays a Russian-born singer who doubles as a spy for the allies on the eve of World War II. Hamilton plays, in CBS’ words, “a handsome renegade American expatriate writer living by his wits in the south of France.” Also in the cast are Malcolm McDowell and Robert Carradine.

Robert Vaughn, who used to star in “The Man From UNCLE,” is returning to series television. He’ll be a regular next season on “The A-Team,” playing what NBC describes as “a mysterious government official in charge of future A-Team operations.”

Jim Henson will produce a series of specials for NBC next season under the umbrella title of “The Storyteller.” The material is based on European fairy tales and will feature a variety of creatures that NBC says will have “a look vastly different from (Henson’s) Muppet characters.”

“Miami Vice” has mostly been a haven for rock-music stars, but now country-music hero Willie Nelson has been signed for a guest role on the NBC cop drama. He’ll play a former law-enforcement agent who steals a large amount of cocaine from a Bolivian dealer.
