LOS ANGELES COUNTY - News from July 3, 1986

Times Mirror Co., Los Angeles, named William J. Rowe publisher and chief executive of its Southern Connecticut Newspapers subsidiary, which publishes the Stamford Advocate and Greenwich Time. Rowe had been president and chief executive of Times Mirror National Marketing. In his new post, Rowe replaces Steven L. Isenberg, who is becoming publisher of another Times Mirror paper, Newsday in Long Island, N.Y. Times Mirror publishes the Los Angeles Times.

In a Thursday report on the naming of William J. Rowe as publisher and chief executive of Times Mirror’s Southern Connecticut Newspapers Inc. subsidiary, the new position of his predecessor, Steven L. Isenberg, was incorrectly identified. Isenberg will become associate publisher of Newsday in Long Island, N.Y.
