Arrest warrants have been issued against 15 drivers for a Los Angeles dairy in connection with a price-skimming scheme involving a federally funded nutrition program for low-income women and children. The dairy drivers, who work for Pure Milk Dairy, are charged with grand theft and forgery for allegedly providing food worth as much as 25% less than the face value of coupons held by participants in the Women, Infants and Children supplemental food program. The dairy’s owner, Fermin Vasquez, has previously been charged with grand theft in the same case.
