$100 Million to Aid Nicaragua’s Contras: Pro and Con
Nicaragua is described as a poor, feeble nation led by an inept group of ideologues who are no threat to the United States. Totally ignored are its rapid military buildup and its close ties with the Soviet Union, Cuba and terrorist groups.
We are fortunate that there are still some individuals who are willing to risk their lives in opposing the forces who are committed to our destruction. All they ask from us are supplies and moral support.
