Nomination Papers: Nomination papers for the Nov. 4 City Council election will be available at the city clerk’s office starting next Monday. Completed forms must be signed by at least 20 registered voters who live in Fullerton and returned to the city clerk by 5 p.m. Aug. 8. Two seats--those of Mayor A. B. (Buck) Catlin and Councilwoman Molly McClanahan--will be contested. If neither incumbent files for reelection, the deadline to file will be extended to Aug. 13, City Clerk Anne York said. The clerk’s office is on the first floor of City Hall, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave., and is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
