Hostage Crisis in Beverly Hills
The Beverly Hills Police Department and the Sheriff’s SWAT Team put on a spectacular display of arms and weaponry June 23 in a manner befitting the prestigiousness of its community. Yet, in sheer arrogance, they let a crazed gunman hold six hostages for more than 13 hours, despite the fact that the gunman had told them at the very outset that he had slain the security guard. Another hostage confirmed this. Unbelievable!
