Rebecca Twigg, the 1984 Olympic silver medalist, has won the 1986 Ore-Ida Women’s Challenge bicycle race at Boise, Ida., for the third straight year despite a crash in the last stage.

The 22-year-old racer from Seattle held off an eight-day assault from the Centurion-Texas Metros which won the team title and placed Madonna Harris of Park City, Utah, and Susan Ehlers of Richardson, Tex., second and third.
