Culver City : Disco Plan Under Study

The Planning Commission is studying a development plan for a discotheque in the new Filmland Corp. building.

American Discothy Corp. wants permission to sell alcoholic beverages in a proposed 6,300-square-foot nightclub, to be called Fantasia, on the ground level of the Filmcorp building at 1000 Washington Blvd. The building will open officially on Aug. 1.

The Los Angeles-based company runs Fantasia discos in downtown Los Angeles and in Northridge, said Joseph Montoya of the city planning staff.
