Quake Shakes South Iran

LONDON —
An earthquake registering 6.2 on the open-ended Richter scale shook Iran’s southern provincial capital of Shiraz and nearby towns Saturday, Iran’s national news agency IRNA reported.
The report, received in London, said there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
