Adult Bookstore Bandit Picks Up a Gift for a Friend

DENVER — One of two men who robbed an adult bookstore could not resist the temptation to pick up a gift for a friend.
Before the gunman left the store with $500, he told his accomplice, “I gotta get one more thing for Ed.”
He picked up a life-size inflatable “Aphrodite” doll from a shelf. Both men then ran out the door, witnesses told police.
The $34.95 figure has painted features and is anatomically correct, store manager Mark Barber said.
